Visited Hubli with the Dharmalingam family. Met their ailing Grandmother. This city has a lovely Rail museum. It has the worlds longest train platform – about 1.5 km long.
From here went for a road trip to Hampi (Vijayanagar empire), famous for the King Krishna Dev Raya and for Tenali Rama. Loved the excavations and the demolished palaces of the King and Queens. This town reminded me of the famous Angkorwat temple complex of Cambodia.
The guide asked me for a boat ride and was further surprised to reach the burial ground of the Kind and also a famous place in history –

KISHKINDHA
The place where Hanumanji was borrn. Here Ram ji shot Bali. Absolutely remarkable because I had no prior idea of where I was visiting.
Next Day I visited a city of Monastries MUNDGOD. A lovely area almost decorated like Tibet. Monks sitting at food joints and an absolutely serene region.
